Welcome to Biology!

  • Hello! I have been in the education field since 2000 and teaching at Lipan ISD since 2016!

This year my role at Lipan has changed as I return to my educational roots and teach High School Biology. I have an undergraduate degree in Biology as well as a master's degree in Environmental Sciences (Ecology emphasis) and 5 years of Biology Ph.D. work. I have previous Biology teaching experience at both the high school and college levels where I taught General Biology, Botany, and Zoology. I look forward to sharing the study of living things with your student and I anticipate a fruitful, challenging, and successful year!

I am also happy to serve in a counseling role at the K-5 level and hope to support all stakeholders as we work together to guide our students toward meeting and exceeding their goals academically, socially, and emotionally.

Please do not hesitate to contact me with any questions or concerns you may have.
